Football at the 2024 Summer Olympics

Overview

The football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics will take place from 24 July to 10 August 2024 in France. The draw took place in Paris on 20 March 2023.

Men's Tournament

The men's football tournament will be held at seven stadiums in seven French cities: Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Paris, and Saint-Etienne.

The tournament will feature 16 teams, divided into four groups of four teams. The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will consist of a quarterfinal, semifinal, and final.

Women's Tournament

The women's football tournament will be held at seven stadiums in seven French cities: Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Paris, and Saint-Etienne.

The tournament will feature 12 teams, divided into three groups of four teams. The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will consist of a quarterfinal, semifinal, and final.
